Input Devices
Mouse-A mouse is a small device used to point to and select items on your computer screen. Although mice come in many shapes, the typical mouse does look a bit like an actual mouse. It's small, oblong, and connected to the system unit by a long wire that resembles a tail.
When it is compared to the Human Body, for me, it is our hands because in the computer we can see that it is the one who is pointing what we choose. Like we, also people can choose what we want, but the mouse it can only move depends to the person holding it.
Keyboard- A keyboard is used mainly for typing text into your computer.
When it is compared to our Human Body, for me it is our mouth, it is the teller. Like people who can’t talk, they can make use of it.
Microphone-A microphone is used to record sound. The sound is then saved as a sound file on the computer.
Mouth also, when it is compared to human body, because it is the mouth who delivered speech into it.
Camera-The camera transmits a picture from one computer to another, or can be used to record a short video.
I can compare this with our eyes. because like a camera what it sees or sights we people also do the same.
Compact Disc (CD) - CDs store information The CD can then be put into another computer, and the information can be opened and added or used on the second computer. -
Modem- To connect your computer to the Internet, you need a modem. A modem is a device that sends and receives computer information over a telephone line or high-speed cable. Modems are sometimes built into the system unit, but higher-speed modems are usually separate components.
Output Devices
Speaker-Speakers are used to play sound. They may be built into the system unit or connected with cables. Speakers allow you to listen to music and hear sound effects from your computer
When it is compared to our Human Body, for me it is the mouth also. It plays also important role in delivering speech, not only speech also sounds.
Printer-A printer transfers data from a computer onto paper. You don't need a printer to use your computer, but having one allows you to print e‑mail, cards, invitations, announcements, and other materials.
I can compare it with our hands, because in the computer, it is the one who’s writing. Where the data’s from the computer transfer into paper.
Monitor-it displays information in visual form, using text and graphics. The portion of the monitor that displays the information is called the screen.
I can compare this in our physical appearance. Because there we can see also the good value of that computer, whether it is good looking or not. Because we people sometimes judging some things without knowing.
